About a year ago we have reviewed 3DXChat, the very first Oculus Rift supported sex game. There were no solid alternatives at the time, but now, months later, we are excited to present you another intriguing product called Chathouse 3D (Roulette). While both games support the virtual reality headset and other groundbreaking sex devices that offer the most realistic cybersex experience you can get, they can’t really be compared. Why? Let’s take a closer look at this new promising title.
The game is being developed and supported by ThriXXX, the makers of such popular titles as 3D Sex Villa, Hentai 3D and their sequels. We have previously reviewed their products, so they are no strangers to our blog. The company has been around for many years and it’s reputation speaks for itself. Since 2001, they have been actively developing their own innovative technologies and product lines by investing millions of dollars into their business. Nowadays, ThriXXX is one of the leading companies in the adult gaming world, recognized for some of the best and most sophisticated 3D sex games ever. With Chathouse 3D Roulette, they are moving into MMO territory and once again pushing the boundaries of what is possible in a sex simulator. Their newest game connects people from all over the world in real time online orgies and social environments and of course showcases new and intimate ways for users to interact with each other.
First thing you should now – Chathouse 3D Roulette is far more modest in scope than 3DXChat and the word “Roulette” in it’s title is probably no coincidence. If we had to describe the game in just a couple of words, it would be something like “Chatroulette (the famous web-service that randomly pairs people from around the world for conversations) meets 3D sex simulation gameplay”. Basically, Chathouse 3D is a huge online social network that offers chat sessions that can be either random (similar to the mentioned Chatroulette) or user-defined. So, if random pairing is not your thing, you can always search for like-minded people to flirt and have sex with. The game is similar in concept to Achat – another game we have recently talked about. If huge online games with developed virtual worlds is not your thing and you just want to have cybersex, this game is even better choice then Achat, as it does the same thing, but also supports all the latest gadgets you can think of (Oculus Rift, VStroker, etc.). How it all works? You search and browse the list of people who’s online and when you spot someone you like, you can either start a regular chat with that person (or multiple ones if you’re looking for an orgy) or invite them to private rooms (awesome looking 3D environments) to satisfy your sexual desires. The chat options are plenty as well – you can use VoIP (voice chat) to talk to your partners in real time and if you’re too shy to let your voice be heard, then regular keyboard chat works magic as well with numerous aliases and shortcuts that make typing faster and easier.
If you are familiar with other ThriXXX products, then you know what to expect from the game feature and graphics-wise. It offers an impressive variety of customization options for your avatar (such as sex, race, facial structure, body shape, skin tone, hairstyles, breast size and so on), so if you want to create a character after your own looks, it is totally possible. The graphics may seem a bit outdated, but then again – it’s the case with most MMOs. Getting as large an audience as possible to play their products is key for developers, so they optimize them to run on most hardware, old and new. Still, this game looks better than some other adult games out there, both singleplayer and multiplayer ones and as we’re talking ThriXXX here, the realism it delivers is beyond competition.
But how does monetization work in this game? There is no subscription model at this time, instead users pay a small fee to unlock 3D sex rooms every time they want to go private with each other. We think it’s actually a great idea – paying a fixed amount each month only to use the game a couple of times kinda sucks, but with this offer you can try it out and see if it’s even worth getting back to.
